Lone Star Carpet Care and Restoration vehicles are equipped with the latest, state-of-the-art carpet cleaning equipment. From truck-mounted machines to top-of-the-line portables, we have the right equipment for your job. Will all my stains come out with the hot water extraction process? Hot water extraction (steam cleaning) is recommended for surface soils and allergens. If you have additional stains, pet damage, or odors, additional treatments may be necessary to achieve the desired result. Your carpet tech will assess your carpet and make recommendations based on your carpet/needs. Can I substitute a stairway or area rug for a "room" on the "3 Rooms and a Hallway" Special? Stairs and area rugs require a different equipment and attention than traditional carpeted areas, so we are unable to substitute either for a "room." Will you move my furniture? Our carpet cleaning techs are available to move your furniture for a small fee. Furniture handling starts at $25 and up. How long will it take for my carpet to dry? Depending on the condition of your carpet, you can expect your carpet to be dry in one to three hours. Do I need to vacuum prior to my carpet cleaning service? We highly recommend pre-vacuuming the area. You will also want to clear the area of large debris, toys, clothes, and other items prior to your service. How do I schedule my appointment? Simply click on the "Appointments" link above to make your appointment. Appointments are scheduled Monday through Friday, either between 9 am and 1 pm or 1 pm and 6 pm. The technician will give you a courtesy call approximately 30 to 45 minutes prior to arrival to verify someone is at the residence and to give you a more precise window of arrival. If we are unable to reach you by the third call, your appointment will be canceled and rescheduled for a later date. Are Saturday, after-hours, and same day appointments available? Yes! We are available Saturdays, after-hours, and for same-day appointments; convenience charges will apply. Is gratuity included? Gratuity is optional and should be based on your technician's performance. Our carpet cleaning technicians work hard to provide you the best service, a gratuity shows your appreciation and are always welcome. Will the hot water extraction process remove my Scotchgard? Yes, carpet cleaning does remove Scotchgard or 3M Protectant, but we are able to reapply. Charges do apply for Scotchgard application. I purchased a voucher, but I'm outside the 12.5 mile service area. Lone Star Carpet Care proudly provides carpet cleaning service to all of San Antonio, Bexar County, and the surrounding areas. Properties 12.5 miles (or closer) from our location, 1415 Loma Alto Rd San Antonio, TX 78232, are serviced at no additional charge. Properties beyond the 12.5 mile service area are subject to a trip charge of $2 per mile, with a $10 minimum. Is there an additional fee for apartments and commercial properties? Yes, a minimum $25 water and disposal fee is applicable for all apartments and commercial properties. What is your cancelation policy? Lone Star Carpet Care and Restoration adheres to a strict 24-hour cancelation policy. We must receive written notification of your cancelation at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. Failure to cancel your appointment within this timeframe may result in a penalty up to the purchase price of your service. |
